FestivalCan I transfer my ticket to someone else?

You can view the schedule on the Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival website: Schedule & Tickets → Calendar or All Performances.
Q.
FestivalAre wheelchair seats or accessibility facilities available at the venue?
Yes. Indoor venues are equipped with accessibility facilities, including wheelchair access.

FestivalIs photography or video recording allowed during performances?
For indoor performances, photography and video recording are not allowed. For outdoor performances, it may be permitted depending on the event and venue conditions.

FestivalWhat happens to outdoor performances in case of rain?
A decision will be made on-site on the day of the event, depending on weather and venue conditions. If a performance is cancelled, we will announce it via our SNS channels and the website Notice board.

FestivalIs there a dress code for entering the venue?
No. There is no dress code.

FestivalAre seats assigned or general admission?
Indoor performances have assigned seating, while outdoor performances are general admission (first-come, first-served).

FestivalCan I bring food or drinks into the seating area?
No. Food and beverages are not allowed in the seating area.

FestivalWhen can I enter the venue?
Entry is available from 20 minutes before the performance starts.

FestivalI arrived after the performance started. Can I still enter?
Yes. Late entry may be allowed at an appropriate time as guided by venue staff.

CompetitionDo I need to purchase the sheet music for the required pieces separately?
Yes. To protect composers' rights, each participant must purchase the sheet music individually. Please note that editions may differ by publisher, so be sure to check the publisher specified for each required piece.

CompetitionIs a letter of recommendation required?
Yes. A letter of recommendation must be submitted when applying. There is no fixed format, but it must include the recommender's official seal/stamp or signature.

CompetitionIf I live overseas and use the official accommodation, how do I submit proof documents?
Korean nationals residing overseas who use the official accommodation must submit proof of residence by email to the Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival office. Please submit either: a current enrollment certificate (for the current semester), or proof of residence showing the applicable period (e.g., a lease agreement). Conversely, foreign nationals residing in Korea must pay an additional accommodation fee of KRW 300,000 together with the participation fee.

CompetitionHow are the preliminary rounds and the final round conducted?
The 1st Preliminary Round, 2nd Preliminary Round, and Final Round are all conducted in person (offline) at the competition venue. The 1st and 2nd preliminary rounds are performed with piano accompaniment, while the final round performance will be accompanied by a professional wind ensemble or a symphony orchestra.

FestivalAre tickets available for purchase on-site on the day of the performance?
Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the venue on the day of the performance (subject to availability).

FestivalIs there an age limit for attending performances?
Children aged 7 and above are allowed to attend the performance.
