Bembel Musikanten 독일밤벨스전문악단 / Germany

Bembel Musikanten was founded in 2011 by Matthias Joos as a large traditional german brass orchestra. The ensemble initially consisted of 22 musicians and specialized in Bohemian-Moravian brass music, featuring soloists. The band quickly gained popularity with performances all around the Rhein-Main area. Since 2015, "Die Bembel Musikanten" has been a regular feature at the Day of German Unity celebrations on October 3rd, performing at the Starkbieranstich of the Grohe Brewery in Darmstadt. This annual event has become a significant part of their performance calendar. In 2016, the band transitioned to a smaller ensemble format, featuring an accordion, four high brass instruments, tenor horn, baritone, tuba, and drums. This change allowed for more versatile performances and a unique sound that continued to captivate audiences. The band's reputation for excellence was further solidified with major performances at the internationally renowned "Woodstock der Blasmusik" festival in 2023 and 2024. These appearances marked significant milestones in their career, showcasing their talent on a global stage. "Die Bembel Musikanten" continues to delight audiences with their dynamic performances and dedication to the rich tradition of Bohemian-Moravian brass music.
