Hanbak Wind Orchestra was first established in December 2005 and held its inaugural concert the following year in 2006. Since then, it has remained actively involved in both school and community events, including outreach concerts such as the “HANBAK Visiting Concert,” morning concerts, participation in national wind competitions, and performances at wind music festivals and cultural events. The ensemble has achieved notable accomplishments, including a Gold Prize in the middle school division at the 20th Chuncheon National Wind Competition in 2023 and a Silver Prize at the 21st edition of the same competition in 2024. To mark its 20th anniversary, the orchestra also held a commemorative regular concert, furthering its mission of promoting cultural and arts education. Currently composed of 67 members, the orchestra is a school-based ensemble where each member takes full responsibility for their role in musical expression and strives to create beautiful music together. For this performance, the group aims to present a meaningful stage that showcases the full extent of their consistently cultivated musical ability.
