Wooami Saxophone Ensemble was named with the meaning of “living old age gracefully and beautifully.” Formed with the purpose of contributing to society through meaningful musical activities in the second chapter of life, the group seeks to enrich their later years through performance while preparing for a fulfilling centenarian life. Its members, with an average age of 72, include retired teachers and former business owners who have cultivated their instrumental skills and continuously share their talents through performances at social welfare facilities and in culturally underserved communities.
