Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra 제주특별자치도립제주교향악단 / Republic of Korea

포토
Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1985 with the passion and the endless efforts of the local musicians. They started with 50 members led by the late Sun-moon Lee. It contributed to musical improvement and development of local culture through their performance under the leadership of Jeong-in Hyeok, the current chief conductor with 70 members. His conducting is balanced between his strength, dynamics, and his extremely delicate interpretation. Furthermore, it has been praised for their effort to commission and premiere the new works and arrangements based on the folk tunes of Jeju Island.
