Inhwa Maeumnanum Wind Orchestra, founded in 2013, is a student wind orchestra that has earned numerous awards at competitions such as the Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival’s U-13 Band Contest and the JIBS Music Competition. Beyond competitions, the orchestra actively participates in various performances including the Jeju Education and Culture Arts Festival, morning concerts before school, regular concerts, and the Jeju Youth Wind Festival. Through these activities, the ensemble contributes to the enrichment of regional arts and culture while nurturing students’ dreams and passion for music.
Ko Yeonghae
Ko Yeonghae, conductor and music teacher at Inhwa Elementary School, began her conducting career with the Seonheul British Brass Band in 2019. From 2020 to 2023, she re-established and led the Samhwa Sori-Ulrim Wind Orchestra, guiding the ensemble to top placements in several prestigious competitions both within and outside Jeju. Since 2024, she has been in charge of the Inhwa Orchestra, where she actively leads and revitalizes the ensemble, enabling over 70 members to participate joyfully in its musical activities.
