Phoenix Foundation 독일피닉스파운데이션 / Germany

포토
The 20 young jazz musicians of the “Phoenix Foundation” perform musical highlights from jazz, rock, and pop music. Their repertoire includes arrangements ranging from Count Basie to Gordon Goodwin, along with jazz classics and modern compositions. The band also showcases its musical creativity by performing original compositions written and arranged by its own members.

Over the years, the orchestra has toured the USA, Korea, Brazil, South Africa, China, India, Bolivia, and Rwanda, collaborating with internationally renowned musicians such as Nils Landgren, Michael Philip Mossman, Andrea Motis, Steve Fidyk, Peter Weniger, Jiggs Whigham, Ack van Rooyen, Terell Stafford, Wayne Bergeron, Samulnori (Korean Drums).

By recognizing their own cultural roots and remaining open to new influences, the members of Phoenix Foundation continuously seek inspiration and renewal. They aim to enhance both their musical and personal skills through performance and exchange — this is the essence of the Phoenix Foundation.
