The Jeju International Wind Composition Competition is an international competition designed to promote the development of wind music composition and to share the cultural value of Jeju, the 'Island of Peace,' with the world.
Launched in 2021, the competition was recognized for its prestige and became a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC) in June 2025. All submitted works must be based on traditional Jeju folk songs, with the core goal of recreating Jeju's unique musical identity through contemporary wind ensemble compositions.
